Hello, I am Sarah a wellness and nutrition coach who is passionate about living a holistic life style to feel and become my best version of myself to gain the most out of live, which let’s face it can be pretty exhausting and overwhelming at times. Oh and I also love cake and chocolate too! Yes, the brain is hard wired to love the foods it is also wired to a negative bias thought pattern so we have to work at these things to create an equilibrium.

I qualified first as a wellness coach and then a nutrition coach with the inspiring and experienced Amanda Hamilton Academy. I have also just completed my training with the NHS as a Health Connect Coach to help people who are living with a chronic health condition as this is something that I have experience of. I am now training with Janey Goodard who is the president of The Complementary Medical Association in Mindfulness and Resilience.

So, what led me here , I worked as a beauty therapist for thirty years and ran my own health and beauty clinic for over twenty years. I have experienced chronic back/neck pain, burnout and life’s challenges along the way. This has resulted in finding a way to self manage and still be able to live a fulfilling life without being held back. So, I have valuable lived experience along with learnt knowledge.

I am married with two grown up sons and two dogs and live close to Dartmoor, Devon. I love food and cooking, walking, Pilates, Yoga, travelling and I make and sell aromatherapy products. I enjoy listening to people and hearing their life stories.

Hopefully I may share my wisdom and knowledge with you to help you live a healthier and ultimately happier life.

What I can offer you as a wellness and nutrition coach. Working on a one to one basis together we can look at your current lifestyle and where you would like to make changes whether that be weight loss, weight gain, more energy, better sleep, stress reduction, managing a chronic health condition, improved fitness, preventative health care or feeling better and choosing a healthier lifestyle. Nothing in the body works in isolation so therefore a holistic approach is required to gain an overview of where you are currently at and what is working for you and what needs to change. Good nutrition alone will not necessarily provide the results you desire if the mind and body connection are also not addressed along side this. We invest in a service and MOT for our car, so this is an investment in ourselves to keep us motoring along without too many trips for repairs hopefully for our body and mind.

By listening and connecting with you I will create an individual plan to guide you towards your own health and wellbeing intentions to gain the skills through coaching to give you the confidence and skills to move forward towards a healthier lifestyle and ultimately feel better.

I will provide recipes, we will look at exercise, sleep, stress and changing behaviour patterns.
